Florida’s Amelia Island concours week once again proved the focal point of the classic car world, delivering strong auction results, record prices and a concours that appears to have regained its momentum after several years of change. Elsewhere, Caterham tapped into British racing history with a new limited-edition Seven, while enthusiasts gathered in Japan to celebrate an iconic JDM wheel design. At the sharp end of motorsport, Max Verstappen confirmed plans to tackle one of endurance racing’s toughest challenges.

Broad Arrow sale delivers record results in Florida
Broad Arrow’s Amelia Concours Auction produced one of the standout auction results of the week, generating more than $111m in sales and achieving a 92% sell-through rate.
The headline result was a 2003 Ferrari Enzo that sold for $15,185,000, making it the second-most valuable example of the model ever sold at auction. The sale also produced new benchmark figures for both the Porsche Carrera GT and Lamborghini Miura SV.
Those results underline the continued strength of the top end of the collector-car market, particularly for analogue supercars of the early 2000s and iconic late-1960s machinery. With Amelia Island now firmly established alongside Monterey and Paris as one of the key global auction moments, Broad Arrow’s results provided one of the clearest indicators of current market sentiment.
